SAT /ACT Exams

Choosing the right SAT prep is critical to getting the score you want!

The College Board’s “New” SAT, introduced in March of 2016, is more fully aligned with the ACT than ever before. Both the SAT and ACT aim to integrate high-school level classroom material in a compelling way, testing students on a variety of skills including reasoning, problem solving, reading comprehension, and text analysis. More generally, and perhaps most importantly, these tests function as valuable resources for college admission officers seeking to assess the “college readiness” of each applicant. For this reason, the age-old question of “SAT or ACT” loses some relevance and more students may be inclined to take both exams.

Both exams require practice and test familiarity in order for students to perform at their best. Moreover, “gaming” the test is no longer the bottom line; the SAT and ACT require test takers to exhibit a proficiency in math, reading, and writing that depends upon a solid high-school education and an ability to apply knowledge within a timed testing environment.

The SAT or ACT score is one of the primary factors used by colleges and universities in granting admission, while the PSAT score can qualify your child for certain scholarships. Our strategic approach to preparation will strengthen your child’s skills and maximize his or her score. A small investment in preparation now can improve your child’s opportunities for selection at the college or university of their of their choice. Our test preparation course provides all of the critical components necessary for results and more:

-Additional opportunities to take more released College Board tests for future practice.
